Alastair Mavor is a 22 year old actor based in the south of England. He was educated at Tonbridge School, Kent after winning a drama scholarship aged 12. He subsequently had roles in the following productions at the school's 350 seat professional "EM Forster Theatre": Gus in The Dumb Waiter; Governor in The Government Inspector; Salty in Teechers; Prime Minister in Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde (Opera); Stanhope in Journey's End; Mayor in The Visit and Florindo in A Servant to Two Masters.

In the summer of 2007, Alastair played Michael as well as co-directing the critically acclaimed production of Someone Who'll Watch Over Me at the Edinburgh Fringe. Following a Gap Year during which, amongst other things, he ran the London Marathon (click here for his blog) he performed in both Patrick Wilde's groundbreaking play What's Wrong With Angry and a sell-out production of Taggart creator Glenn Chandler's new play Boys of the Empire at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008. Boys of the Empire was fringe first nominated and subsequently transferred to the King's Head Theatre, Islington for a 6 week run where it received critical acclaim and sold-out its run.

In the spring of 2009, Alastair worked with Julian Glover and Hannah Gordon on a reading of Glenn Chandler's play "The Best of Times" (dir. Andrew Hall) and also acted in The Peter Hall Season (Theatre Royal Bath and Tour) throughout the summer.
